Job Title: Property Relationship Manager
KAYAK is seeking a talented, experienced and highly motivated PRM to work on our Revato team who will be at the center of our commercial activities in EMEA, building and maintaining relationships with our hotel partners. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of consumer behavior in the hotel industry, superior analytical skills and the ability to work closely with KAYAK’s marketing, engineering, product, analytics, legal, finance and other business teams. The candidate must be a self-starter and thrives in an agile, fast-paced environment with a passion for data and analytics. The ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment is key for this position.
This position will be based out of our London office and requires occasional travel.
Develop and sustain strong partner relationships by providing relevant data insights and high-quality consulting services to hotel partners (revenue management advice and marketing opportunities).
Ensure that partner hotels’ products (content, rates and availability) are consistently optimized on Revato’s extranet to maximize customer conversion.
Secure seasonal deals and promotions within the guidelines set by management to support the brand’s merchandising and marketing efforts.
Continuously promote and develop hotel partners’ high engagement with Revato by providing unique market insights (partner reports, competitive data and key performance drivers), revenue management tools (promotions, packages and fenced deals) and marketing and merchandising opportunities, self-service tools (Revato extranet)
Work with our affiliates team to understand main demand source markets, to help acquisition plan and promotional strategy.
Analyze, monitor and optimize partner performance for the benefit of our partners and users.
Excel at handling day-to-day communication (e.g. emails, phone calls, etc) and performance monitoring (e.g. reporting) with assigned partners.
Design, communicate and lead a market growth strategy, identify and address content gaps as well as other product and marketing opportunities.
Use industry knowledge to identify and execute on key opportunities to improve the product and market position of the KAYAK.
Measure product performance using financial, operational and user metrics.
Monitor the competitive landscape and trends of online travel to identify KAYAK’s strengths and weaknesses, then formulate and execute a plan to close the gap.
At least two years of relevant experience managing partnerships with hotel providers.
As a global business with multiple offices around the world, we are looking for someone with international work experience that can manage complex, multi-faceted relationships with different stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience with contracting and negotiation skills are crucial.
Love numbers - strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with a willingness to “roll up your sleeves” to investigate issues and identify opportunities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation experience, including storyboarding and creating your own high-quality presentation materials.
A team player and an independent self-starter, strong organization and prioritization skills with a track record of going the extra mile.
High proficiency in Excel, Jira, Powerpoint, Cognos, data visualization tools and Salesforce.
Business fluency in written and spoken English is required.
