We are seeking a strong writer with 3+ years of experience in copy and content for brand marketing, email and social media. This position will report to our Creative Director full-time and is based out of our Stamford, CT, office.

Who We’re Looking For

Someone who can mix brand storytelling with business objectives. You have an acute knack for copy, are a meticulous editor, and yet still a speedy writer. From email newsletters to display ads, social media captions to brand campaign collateral, you are a jack/jill-of-all-trades and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty on just about any project. You have a passion for travel and are interested in what’s happening in the travel + tech community. You’re just as comfortable writing a blog post as you are a billboard ad, and love following the evolution of digital content. You’re the friend that gets sent “this you?” whenever anyone scrolls by a copywriting TikTok. And, finally, you just really love the color orange.


  • Airtight writing skills and experience thinking strategically about brand concepts and implementing across multiple channels

  • Ability to strategically translate market research and data into brand stories

  • Work with global teams to align writing towards a consistent brand voice

  • At least 3 years of experience copywriting various creative assets for a consumer brand in-house or at an agency; newsletter writing experience a plus

  • Diplomatic, organized and effective communicator

  • Think innovatively and can quickly deliver a wide variety of high-quality content

  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves, hop in and learn on any new project

  • Good sense of humor, experience in writing content with a comedic edge

  • Aren’t married to the Oxford comma


  • Continue developing KAYAK’s consumer voice and write compelling copy for all marketing channels, including email, display, paid search, social media, and online video

  • Collaborate with designers and extended marketing team to concept and execute various campaigns

  • Work cross-functionally with our global marketing and tech teams to share best practices and collaborate on ideas

  • Stay on top of trends and competitors, and be able to quickly build relevant content in KAYAK’s voice

  • Very organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects at once while sticking to deadlines

  • Enthusiastically brings new ideas to the table to drive marketing impact
