The Position

We are looking for a world-class SEM Student Assistant to join our Performance Marketing Team in our amazing Copenhagen Office. If Search Marketing, hands-on campaigns management, data analysis and creative optimisation sound interesting, then here is your chance to land a great student job.

Your role is straight forward: help us to grow some of the strongest and most exciting travel brands in the world: KAYAK, momondo, Cheapflights, checkfelix, mundi and SWOODOO. All this, by joining one of the most advanced and dynamic online marketing teams in the world.  

We are a data driven company with a key focus on being bold, loving numbers and winning as one! Working as an SEM Student Assistant, you will help drive the growth of our accounts in European markets and become an expert in the field of Search Marketing. You will learn how to drive and analyse performance from our Paid Search channel across multiple markets and brands. You love to work with numbers, have an eye for details and have great knowledge of and passion for digital advertising. This role will allow you to work with some of the most talented online marketing professionals in the industry and put theory into practice. This position reports to the Director of PPC, based in Berlin. 

Responsibilities

  • Support the SEM team with creation and management of campaigns across a portfolio of brands & markets, working with platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads

  • Execute A/B tests, collect and analyse data, identify trends and insights in order to develop and optimise the campaigns

  • Help launch new marketing campaigns based on the company’s roadmap

  • Maintain clear communication and share optimisation insights and ideas with team members and stakeholders

  • Demonstrate ownership of assigned projects 

  • Keep up with the latest Search Marketing trends and platform features

  • Work with cross-functional teams including engineering and marketing analytics to uncover growth opportunities

  • Be able to work approx. 15 hours per week, schedule is flexible

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Currently in a Bachelor or Master degree with minimum one year left of your studies 

  • Highly analytical mindset for analysis and reporting

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel is required, and Google Sheets experience is a plus

  • Strong interest in digital marketing

  • Structured approach to day-to-day management of tasks and problem solving

  • A passion for learning through data

  • Knowledge of metrics for optimisation such as CTR, CPC, CPA and/or ROI is a plus, but not a requirement

  • Experience with managing campaigns in Google Ads and Bing Ads is a plus, but not a requirement

  • Experience with Analytics tools such as Google Analytics is a plus, but not a requirement

  • Excellent communication skills and a team player

  • Excellent English verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Self-driven, creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organised

  • Fun, ethical, passionate team player
