POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Service Excellence Manager, the HR Reporting Analyst is responsible for collecting and analyzing HR data to develop data-driven insights that support decision-making and enhance HR service delivery.  This role is focused on creating accurate and insightful reports on key HR metrics, maintaining data integrity, and developing visual dashboards for performance tracking.  The analyst ensures compliance with data standards and effectively communicates findings to HR stakeholders, contributing to the strategic improvement of HR services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Gather and compile HR data from various sources, including HCM platforms, software, applications, payroll systems, and other databases.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data through regular audits and validation processes.
  • Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports on various HR metrics such as turnover rates, hiring statistics, employee demographics, training completion rates, and performance appraisal outcomes.
  • Customize reports to meet the specific needs of stakeholders and the Service Excellence Manager
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform HR strategies and decision-making.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to improve HR processes and services.
  • Conduct forecasting and predictive analysis to support workforce planning and other strategic HR initiatives.
  • Create and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations that provide insights into key HR metrics.
  • Track and monitor the performance of HR services against established benchmarks and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure that all reporting activities comply with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards related to data privacy and protection.
  • Adhere to data governance policies and procedures.
  • Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations from reports to HR stakeholders, including HR leadership and team members.
  • Utilize HR analytics tools and software to enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in HR analytics.
  • Assist in the development of self-service reporting capabilities for HR stakeholders.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Essential:

  • Up to 2 years of experience using analytics tools to monitor content usage and effectiveness.
  • Ability to interpret data and generate meaningful reports to inform decision-making.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and extract meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency in creating reports, charts, graphs, and dashboards that clearly communicate data findings.
  • Experience with data visualization tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of database management and reporting, HCM, and service management platforms, software, and applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot data issues and provide practical solutions.

Desirable:

  • Ability to engage with and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Verbal and written communication skills to convey complex data in an understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple reporting tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong working knowledge of Workday and BMC Helix platforms, software, and applications.
