POSITION SUMMARY:
Serve as contact to multiple HR managers to provide them guidance on IPG’s benefits. Assist with the upkeep of the Benefits within the computer systems for all employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Process benefit enrollment forms for all offices. Update all corrections, status changes, additions, terminations, etc. to benefit vendors.
- Maintain current knowledge of the various benefit plan documents.
- Research and answer benefit questions for employees.
- Determine proper course of action to resolve escalated benefit issues.
- Load internal and external 3rd party benefit and retirement files into PeopleSoft and Workday 3rd party vendor sites.
- Process adjustments for benefits during semi-monthly payroll.
- Analyze open enrollment reports, audits and queries.
- Assist in the completion of employment verifications.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma
- Two to four years in the benefits field.
- PeopleSoft and Workday experience preferred
- Employee volume 5,000+ required
- Excellent customer service skills are a must.
- Ability to perform under pressure, and be a problem-solver.
- Be able to work independently on benefit trouble-shooting, yet must be willing to help out the team when needed.
- Excel training and knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus.
