In order for you to join our team, you will need:

  • You must be willing to work in the Annapolis Junction, MD, area.     
  • BA/BS Degree in a technical discipline related to the experience requirements as stated herein (such as: Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems).
  • Twelve (12) years experience as a systems, software, or hardware engineer in programs that encompassed: System architecture development; Performing requirements analysis, management and control; multiple activities with multiple vendors; large systems engineering efforts totaling more than $15M/year, or Management and evaluation of business processes and implementation strategies.
  • Minimum eighteen (18) years experience in technical roles for Government or Industry customer.
  • Experience working in agile software development teams using.
  • Experience in one or more of the following languages: Vue, Node.js, Svelte, CSS, HTML, Javascript, MySQL, ElasticSearch, Git, Linux, Jenkins, Docker, Docker-compose.
  • Strong experience in implementing web applications, support services, and customer requirements 
  • Experience with database integration and data management.
  • Experience in role-based user applications.
  • Ability to review and decompose use cases into development activities

Just some of your day-to-day activities will include but not limited to:

  •  Implement in-browser GUIs using a modern JavaScript framework (e.g. Vue, Svelte)
    Implement back-end supporting systems (i.e. REST endpoints) in Node.js.
  • Build query systems backed by NoSQL data stores (e.g. ELK stacks)
  • Host Dockerized production, test and demo web applications on customer infrastructure.
  • Build websites that meet applicable Section 508 standards.
  • Address bug fixes for currently deployed software and perform integration and testing as needed
  • Serve as a team member in a dynamic, cloud centric environment working with systems engineers, developers, and leadership at the highest levels.
  • Establish relationships with customers and engage with them to determine requirements; guide stakeholders in formulating functional and system level requirements for the use of the IC-GovCloud environment and advise and evaluate on alternative solutions.
