Strategy & Partnerships Manager

About the Job:
The Strategy team sets the direction for the company across different markets and industries. As the Strategy & Partnerships Manager, you will lead all Ebury collaboration projects with Santander Group, our esteemed shareholder. Your role will involve proactive project management and identifying commercial opportunities across the various divisions of Santander, including retail, business banking, commercial banking, and corporate investment banking (CIB). You will spearhead the development of innovative partnership strategies, driving growth for both Ebury and Santander.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the strategic direction and execution of collaboration projects between Ebury and the Santander Group.
- Proactively identify and pursue commercial opportunities to cross-sell cross-border finance products across various Santander entities.
- Lead the ideation and development of innovative partnership models.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align on strategic goals and objectives.
- Oversee project management processes to ensure the successful implementation of partnerships.
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics of partnership initiatives to ensure alignment with targets and KPIs.
Background & Competencies:
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in top consulting firms, focusing on strategic or transformational projects for Financial Institutions.
- Proven experience in consultative sales or commercial roles with a focus on banking.
- Additional background in fintech is a plus.
- Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of influencing and presenting at senior levels.
- A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
