The Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and strategic Performance Marketing Manager to drive our Search and App channels to new heights. Paid Search and App install campaigns are significant investment areas for Deliveroo and critical to our business growth. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to lead a team of digital marketing specialists and drive cross functional initiatives that improve the efficiency of our performance marketing spend. Collaborating closely with our technology and data science teams, you will steer out investments in paid search and app campaigns, drive measurement and incrementality experiments, build out automated solutions and explore new channel opportunities to stay at the forefront of the industry.

Success in this role hinges on your ability to cultivate strong working relationships across Deliveroo. A confident self-starter, you will possess the innate power to influence and transform ideas into action. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead a team of digital marketing specialists to measure, monitor, and analyse  performance and identify optimisation opportunities
  • Execute Search and App best practices and optimisation across bidding, ad copy and landing pages
  • Scope and set up tests, execute, analyse and present results to the Performance Marketing team and the rest of the business, propose recommendations and rollout schedules based on results
  • Cooperate with Engineering and Data Science teams to identify areas to increase efficiency and further automation of processes
  • Drive new customer growth and build the channel to one of the most significant acquisition channels at an international scale
  • Leverage new products in the market and deliver first-to-market excellence in SEM for Deliveroo
  • Manage strategic partner relationships (e.g. Google, Microsoft, Apple) 
  • Manage a large SEM budget, optimise and scale campaigns against tight, granular KPIs; manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets relating to the activity
  • Work closely with other members of the Marketing team across all regions; UK and Internationally

Requirements

  • Proven track record on managing Paid Search campaigns in different languages, driving marketing performance and ROAS
  • Experience with managing large data feeds, complex analytical tasks and working with large data sets
  • Experience building and managing a high performing marketing team 
  • Excellent multi-tasker and ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment characterised by constant growth
  • Good communication skills to convey your thinking and decisions and the ability to get people along on the journey
  • Extensive experience of Google Ads, Bing Ads, Apple Search Ads,
  • Knowledge about Google Ads Scripts and APIs
  • Comfortable with (and look forward to) solving large complex paid search challenges
