About the team

This role sits within the Performance Marketing function of the UK&I Marketing team here at Deliveroo. The team’s focus is driving business growth and managing best in class channel planning, strategy and execution through Video, Display & Paid Social. As a channel specialist team, we are a vibrant function, collaborating closely with creative, data science and marketing technology teams to deliver innovative digital campaigns. The role is based in London on a hybrid model, with at least 3 days a week in office per week. 

About the role

We're looking for a commercially minded, data-driven Senior Digital Marketing Specialist. The role will be primarily focused on the end-to-end management from strategy to execution for Video, Display and Youtube in Google Ads/DV360. The role will work closely with a Paid Social channel specialist and involve working closely with various internal stakeholders in the marketing team and external stakeholders such as platform partners to ensure plans are delivered on time and projects are effectively managed. The role will report into the Senior Digital Marketing Manager of UK&I Performance Marketing.

What you'll be doing

  • Platform Management - Managing platform setup, activation, optimisation and reporting for Google Ads/DV360 media buying across all of our product lines and verticals. 
  • Planning & Forecasting - Responding to briefs collaborating with the internal planning team, forecasting audience sizing and recommending strategies that align with the business objective and performance goal for the campaign. 
  • Measurement - Identifying opportunities to perform A/B tests and run brand lift studies to strengthen performance insights. 
  • Strategy Support - Work with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager on the roll-out of channel strategy. 
  • Reporting - Reporting on performance in weekly updates and conducting post campaign analysis to generate learnings and insights that shape future media strategy. 
  • Stakeholder Management - Liaising with media planning, marketing managers, platform reps and agency teams on campaigns and projects. 

Requirements

  • 3-4+ years experience in planning and execution, in particular expertise activating on Google Ads/DV360 and specifically Youtube. 
  • Good knowledge of the Display and Video media ecosystem and DSPs.
  • Proven track record in launching consumer-facing campaigns, preferably within a high-growth D2C brand.
  • Basic problem-solving skills, structuring arguments well and finding solutions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills..
  • Basic quantitative analytical skills utilised for reporting and to set up tests/experiments. 
  • Understanding of conversion tracking and tagging tools to track and measure campaign effectiveness. 
  • Experience with Paid Social is highly advantageous.
