About the Role:

We are looking for a People Services Specialist to join our local People Team, based in Hong Kong. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, this Specialist will work within the wider HR team to support across a wide range of People needs.

Building upon previous HR Administration and employee lifecycle experience, this opportunity offers development into more complex HR experience, solidifies your compensation & benefits knowledge, and develops different skills across several different areas within the HR department.

What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible for day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle, encompassing tasks such as onboarding documents, scheduling, right to work checks, application processes, communications, offboarding logistics, and documentation management.
  • Take charge of managing monthly payroll, MPF, leave management, company benefits, and coordinating with insurance vendors.
  • Administer various platforms and HR databases to ensure the accuracy of employee information in systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, and Juro.
  • Aid in organising training and development activities, including scheduling, vendor/venue selection, and post-training activities such as evaluation, follow-ups, and training record maintenance.
  • Provide support to the People team in offering guidance on HR issues to both employees and managers.
  • Prepare reports and analyse People data.
  • Foster open, collaborative, and positive relationships with employees and establish a strong rapport with the global People team.
  • Assist in employee development initiatives and engagement events.

What you'll need:

  • 3-5 years of all-rounded HR experience
  • Experience in HR shared service function is highly advantageous
  • Willingness to handle high volume transactional and administrative tasks
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • Thorough understanding of the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and employee lifecycle
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Organised, independent, skilled in time management and prioritisation
  • Tech Savvy - Proficiency in MacOS, Google Suite (Experience in Workday is highly desirable)
  • Expected to serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related queries, responding clearly, confidentially, and confidently across all levels of the organisation
