The role

We're looking for a Marketing Business Analyst, reporting into the Head of National Marketing & Planning

In this role, you will be in charge of: 

Marketing Performance & Analysis

  • Hand in hand with the Finance & Strategy team, lead delivery of Marketing business reviews, actively engaging with relevant parties and  demonstrating an ability to apply knowledge of business levers to diagnose performance.
  • Regularly update marketing teams on overall business & consumer  performance and key trends
  • Leveraging your analytical mindset and business acumen, perform comprehensive market analysis to comprehend trends, customer needs, and opportunities. This may entail conducting market research, competitive analysis, and consumer behaviour research (with support from central teams) to deliver clear and actionable insights to the Marketing team, enabling them to define and address consumer challenges effectively

Marketing governance and planning

  • Coordinate the marketing team governance, including weekly and monthly business reviews 
  • Oversee the annual and quarterly marketing planning process, to take to senior stakeholders
  • Ensure planning process is smooth for key stakeholders, making sure all relevant parties are aware and engaged with process steps, deliverables and deadlines. 
  • Support the proposition analysis phase, ensuring a comprehensive overview of all relevant data (across business, brand and campaign metrics) is completed to inform our proposition strategy.
  • Run the planning process, including regular status update meetings with the marketing team, ensuring teams are clear on the brief, and support where required.

Project management

  • Work as project leader on ad-hoc strategic projects relating to marketing either in the early stage or in their execution phase, coordinating local teams and working transversally with central HQ

Your profile

  • 3-6+ years of experience, in marketing business analyst roles, ideally within high growth consumer facing/tech companies
  • Master’s degree
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable with data & financials
  • Strong consumer acumen
  • Excellent communication skills, capacity to influence and interact across different levels of the organisation
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, experience working in matrixed organisations appreciated
  • Excellent level of English required
