About the team

The Media Measurement team sits within Deliveroo’s Product & Global Marketing organisation. Our mission is to enable central and local marketing teams to make the most of every marketing campaign. We achieve this by supporting them with best-in-class measurement approaches to help them understand the impact and effectiveness of their marketing campaigns and where the opportunities are to optimise.

About the role

You’ll report into the Head of Media Measurement and be responsible for running key projects and driving key measurement initiatives. You’ll need to collaborate with teams from Data Science, Brand, Research & Insights and Local Markets to drive our measurement roadmap forward. You’ll have a passion for driving action through data and insights with the ability to simplify complex results into clear messages and recommendations. You’ll be comfortable working at pace, adaptable to changing priorities and able to drive projects forward independently. This role will operate under our hybrid working policy, 3 days a week working from our London HQ and working from home. 

What you'll be doing

  • Perform deep-dives on key business questions and uncover trends and correlations to develop insights for the business
  • Project managing our Marketing Mix Modelling, working closely with Data Science and our agency to ensure we are delivering high quality results to answer key business questions
  • Working with Data Science to scope and execute projects in line with our measurement roadmap.
  • Working with Central & Local Marketing teams to help them understand results and activate recommendations.
  • Present data and insights to cross-functional partners and senior business stakeholders, such as Department leads and Heads of Marketing.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in marketing data analytics or business intelligence space
  • Understanding of marketing measurement approaches
  • Hands on experience in data mining & manipulation using tools such as SQL, BI data tools, Excel etc. Experience with Marketing Mix Modelling is desirable.
  • Ability to analyse data to translate them into actionable insights and recommendations. 
  • Strong presentation and data visualisation skills and an ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences in a clear, simple way, written and verbally
  • Proven ability in managing stakeholders and building relationships across teams and functions
  • Experience in working in matrix organisations and partnering cross-functionally
  • Comfortable with fast-paced organisations - you are resilient and adaptable to change
