Your Impact
Lead instruction for a cohort (20-200 employees) at leading firms in a live online classroom for the duration of the program (16-17 weeks) The instructor will be responsible for leading live lectures and providing learner support through asynchronous messaging, such as through email or Slack.
The role is part-time, remote, and paid (compensation details below). The approximate weekly commitment is ~4 hours per week. The live lectures will take place on weekdays. The specific program we are hiring for takes place:. November 12 - March 26, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am - 12pm EST
A Day In The Life
Our Enterprise Training programs vary in topics and duration, but below we outline a typical program structure.
Learners work individually to complete asynchronous learning modules outside of the live class teams. The learners also have a Capstone project as their final key deliverable for the class. Learners dedicate ~6 hours per week to the program, as they have to balance it with the responsibilities of their daily roles.
Learners will have different backgrounds and experience with data and technology. Some will know how to code and work with data, while for others this will be their first formal exposure to a data course.
Your Expertise
- 3-5 years of experience as a data analyst, data scientist, or related role
- Experience conveying data-related topics to cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience with data storytelling and data visualization
- Experience teaching in a virtual environment
- Data practitioner with technical and application background
- Ability to simplify and explain data concepts, as well relate them to business objectives
- Exceptional leadership skills
- High organization
- Professionalism
Core Responsibilities:
Onboarding (Pre-Program)
- The instructor will need to review the program materials prior to the beginning of the program to familiarize themselves with the content.
- The instructor will need to meet and communicate with Correlation One prior to the beginning of the program to coordinate on the logistical details of teaching the program
Classes (During the Program)
- Lectures will be 2 hours each, twice a week.
- Class times vary and depend on our enterprise clients.
- Lectures are virtual – taught over Zoom and use Slack for communication
Asynchronous Responsibilities (During the Program)
- Communication with learners to answer their questions and generate engagement among the learners.
- Review of learners’ project deliverables and giving them constructive feedback
- Coordinate with Correlation One on the class logistics and communicate any thoughts, feedback, or updates on the program
