At Altana we've built the first AI Knowledge Graph of the global supply chain -- the world’s most comprehensive representation of global commerce activity. This data asset, composed of billions of records, covers more than 40% of cross-border transactions, corporate ownership registries in over 100 countries, the global movements of goods, illicit web activity, and more. Built on this foundation, our proprietary machine learning technologies and products are designed to help customers manage risk, automate otherwise labor-intensive investigations, and better manage cross-border flows.
Our technology team is looking for a talented leader to define our technical project management process, manage our roadmap, and help deliver our vision to the world. You’ll work closely with our Data Scientists, Engineers, and Client Solutions team on projects to analyze and observe world-scale datasets.
This position can be worked remotely, or from our headquarters location in NYC.
You will serve in a critical leadership function for the entire organization, where you'll define agile project management processes
Partner with Data Science, Engineering, and Client Solutions to manage our roadmap and speak for our milestones and deliverables
Champion agile software development practices, iterate on those processes, and help to scale our team as we grow
Regularly report on our project status to our leadership team and organization
Contribute to the definition and construction of our Knowledge Graph product
You have 5+ years of professional experience managing agile processes and ceremonies across multiple projects or disciplines
You have a strong familiarity with modern technical concepts including such as APIs, databases, and cloud services
You have experience working with high-performing technology teams
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
You are detail-oriented and care deeply about practicality and iteration
Nice to have, but not required
Experience with Machine Learning or Big Data projects
Previous experience with software development or another technology-related discipline
