Lifecycle Marketing Manager

Alma is seeking an autonomous, data-driven Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team. The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will work within a small team responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns that activate, engage, and retain Alma members via post-sale email channel communications and programs. As a highly cross-functional contributor to the business, the Lifecycle Marketing Manager will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure we’re surfacing the right information at the right time to our membership base. Part of the Lifecycle and Product Marketing team at Alma, the ideal candidate demonstrates high growth potential to evolve into a cross-channel lifecycle leader as the business matures.

What you’ll do:

  • Become an expert in our customer journeys and a strong advocate for their experience as an Alma member
  • Own cross-channel campaign strategy and management via ad hoc and automated messaging
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure their initiatives are effectively weaved into our lifecycle messaging strategy
  • Demonstrate data-driven rigor and a results-oriented approach by establishing, reporting on, and improving key metrics to unpack business impact and inform future initiatives
  • Become a systems expert, cultivating extensive knowledge of our marketing technology stack and database sources to ensure campaign integrity

Who you are:

  • You have 3-5 years of hands-on experience with lifecycle marketing and email marketing automation software; Marketo experience is required
  • You have an in-depth knowledge of email best practices to increase deliverability, engagement, and conversion
  • You are equal-parts strategic and operational, comfortably shifting from 500 to 0 feet and have an interest to stay deeply engaged in the execution of work
  • You are analytically-minded and have a substantial foundation in experimentation and testing to drive incremental channel optimization
  • You have solid written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • You relish the details and find immense satisfaction from a carefully crafted campaign brief
  • You have a roll up your sleeves mentality and are energized in start-up environments
  • You are passionate about Alma's mission and the future of mental health care

Salary Band: $100,000 - $125,000
