We are looking for a system game designer to join our Mobile Team! This position will work closely with producers, developers, and artists to build and evolve game systems from concept to ship. The ideal candidate would have experience shipping multiple F2P mobile games and is committed to the success of the game and the team.
What You Will Do:
Reporting to our Director of Game Design, you will:
Take ownership of game systems and features from design to shipping.
Audit existing system designs to identify areas of improvement. Use qualitative and quantitative feedback from players to come up with solutions.
Build games with future live ops opportunities in mind.
Work with external developers with a "one-team" mentality, chip in design ideas and knowledge for the team. Lead with influence.
Bounce ideas with product managers to use effective mechanics to improve retention and monetization metrics.
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
4+ years of experience as a system game designer across multiple stages of development (development to soft launch to live service). Shipped at least 1 title in a designer role.
Enthusiastic about crafting compelling mobile experiences with balanced F2P monetization.
Proficient in building specs, one-pagers, wireframes. Adept at using tools or software for designing games.
Excellent interpersonal skills. Experience working with engineers, artists, and other designers.
Very strong problem-solving skills. Be able to comprehend data and turn it into meaningful solutions.
Able to prioritize tasks and remain productive with minimal direction.
Preferred / Bonus Skills:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, analytics, or game design.
