Summary:

 Sr. Manager, Finance Operations – The individual will support a large and growing sector of centralized development services which include global product services, motion capture studios, artist studios, QA and customer services.  The role will directly interact and jointly report to SVP of Centralized Development Services and the interpersonal leadership teams.  The role will be integral part of business and operational team that support resource (workforce) planning, allocation, and optimization.  The role will have a direct reporting line to Sr. Director, FPA (Planning and Consolidation team).  The key responsibility of the role includes heavy coordination with field operations leads, cross-functional operations lead, 2K Label finance, and HR, among other units to resolve operational challenges, providing comprehensive financial models, crafting business justifications and relevant project’s return on investments.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own preparation process of Annual Operating Budget and long-range project/by-title P&L planning which include partnership with various business/functional leaderships, business collaborators to collect and assemble operating and project assumptions.
  • Collaborate with key partners centralized/shared services leadership, internal finance team and other functional teams for developing forecasts and operational view of budgets
  • Provides business insights and recommendations to the business collaborators to achieve financial target/goals including prioritization, cost optimization, trends, and future requirements. Manages and implements processes through engagement with internal and external partners. Collaborates with business leaders to define action plans for financial and business analysis findings.
  • Supervise progress against goals, analyze variance and present recommendations for meeting plan targets; deep dives support to resource utilization analyses, capitalization rate of current billable development resources, overall workforce planning including market rate adjustments impact vs. staffing up model, work closely with Human Resource Business Partners and business leadership.
  • Create ad-hoc analyses to model updated assumptions and present findings to leadership, especially with focus on resource/capacity planning for multiple line of services (QA, Customer Support, Global Production Services teams)
  • Identify new metrics that can improve tracking of business performance.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to drive finance, operational and business improvements in execution.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership.
  • Consolidate and analyze financial data including reconciliations, period to period variance analysis, derivation of cost targets, analyzing cost deviation with variance explanations.
  • Supervise budget request from numerous departments and provide variance explanations and business insights to the collaborators in concise manner.
  • Prepares ad-hoc reports, special projects, and presentations for various internal stakeholders.
  • Work with the Finance and Business teams to set up new processes and procedures, and opportunities for operational improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; (MBA is a plus)
  • Minimum 6 - proven ability in finance, analytics, management consulting or a similar field with 5 or more years in financial planning and analyses OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Power Point is required.
  • Excellent communication skills to connect with a diverse set of collaborators in a global environment (including Finance team members and functional leaders); ability to summarize analyses and recommendations and present to leadership.
  • "Can-do" demeanor with a desire to learn.
  • Interpersonal savvy to handle multiple business priorities simultaneously and prioritize and complete work within exacting deadlines.
  • General accounting knowledge preferred.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving including analytical and information system skills.
  • Detail oriented, with high level of ethics and integrity
