At Xometry, we're revolutionizing the manufacturing industry with our AI-driven marketplace. We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in maintaining our financial health by evaluating credit risks and making data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
Able to work Monday and Tuesday 8am to 5pm and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 12pm to 8pm
Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers using Dun and Bradstreet
Analyze payment history, financial statements, and shipping trends to determine credit limit increases
Create and maintain accurate customer credit files
Create Profoma invoices and maintain a log
Process incoming credit card payments daily
Manage Government credit card customers
Settle credit card payments to invoices
Maintain customer billing profiles ex: net terms, name, address, email and phone number
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
3+ years of experience in credit analysis or risk assessment
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
Proficiency in financial modeling and credit scoring tools
Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry and analysis
Problem-solving aptitude to craft creative solutions in challenging situations
Knowledge of credit laws and industry best practices
Experience with CRM software and financial databases
Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
