Join our team as a full-time Internal Communications Consultant, specialising in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.

You'll spend approximately half your time as a client-facing communications generalist, supporting our pharmaceutical client's employee engagement and communication efforts at their manufacturing division sites in Ireland. The other half of your time will be dedicated to collaborating on agency-wide projects, where you'll support diverse clients to inspire creativity and make a lasting impact. We are looking for a hands-on communicator who is eager to develop their career and grow into a more strategic role over time.

This is a fully remote role. We are looking for candidates in and around Belfast, Ireland as periodic travel to our client sites is required.

You will report into the Communications and Engagement Consultant

What will you do …

  • Lead or contribute to projects through engagement and communications strategies and planning in a strategic and measurable manner in consideration of our client priorities
  • Provide communications expertise and counsel to clients and team members
  • Design communication campaigns
  • Recognise and solve potential problems and always assess clients' needs
  • Develop employee listening and insight programmes
  • Help implement strategies that help the organisation navigate change, growth, crisis and employee affairs
  • Develop high-quality content across multiple channels
  • Equip managers and other important partners with messaging and tools to help them inform and influence their staff
  • Surface stories of innovation, safety and diversity that can be communicated internally and externally
  • Help position our client company as an employer of choice among current and prospective employees
  • Build relationships with main leaders
  • Work with multiple partners and departments, including clients and their internal/relevant partners, vendor partners and agency staff

What do you need to have …

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 8 years of experience in internal and external communications
  • Experience explaining ideas in a clear and straightforward way.
  • Demonstrated ability in:
  • Manage projects that create organisational change and foster employee engagement
  • Analyse business issues to provide solutions linked to strategies, taking projects from concept through implementation
  • Flourish in a dynamic, high-speed setting with ready to handle urgent requests.
  • Translate complex information into compelling communications
  • Create communications from start to finish, including formatting and distributing materials
  • Develop relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Maintain direction and focus through proactive, integrated planning using an organised, data-driven approach
  • Track record as intelligent risk-taker
  • Intermediate expertise in the Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools is required; experience with design, video, digital tools or the Adobe suite of tools is desirable.
  • Ability to travel to client sites and in-person meetings—locally, nationally or internationally.

  • Bachelor's degree is required; advanced education
  • Experience within a regulated industry
  • Deep business knowledge and an understanding of manufacturing across a global enterprise
  • Experience communicating with a diverse workforce with different roles and needs (i.e., wired and non-wired employees)
  • Agency or healthcare experience
