As a Senior Management Accountant you will provide management account support on an operational level to Inizio XD and Inizio Group. You will work with the management accounts team and other Partners.

You will report into the Head of Management Accounts

What you'll do:

  • Help with and produce monthly management accounts
  • Balance sheet account reconciliations and nominal journals
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax authorities across EU
  • Company Tax Returns (including VAT)
  • Maintain fixed asset registers
  • Help with budgets and forecasts
  • Produce year end accounts including detailed schedules
  • Work with the department to ensure financial accuracy and systems are maintained
  • Liaise and communicate with Directors and senior managers of the Inizio business
  • Communicate with Inizio Group Finance
  • Represent department/company at internal/external meetings
  • Ensure companywide understanding of VAT rules including running training sessions
  • Maintain accounting knowledge following industry standards to ensure we are complaint and therefore mitigating risk

What do you need to have …

  • Experience in a Management Accountant role is necessary
  • Fully qualified or towards near completion of a professional accountancy qualification(ACCA or CIMA)
  • Must be numerate, literate and quick to learn.
  • Experience making informed decisions
  • Experience working in a time constraint organisation
  • Experience persuading and collaborating with senior partners
  • Experience taking advantage of any opportunities that present themselves to improve service levels
  • Experience in leadership and autonomy
  • Have a high level of Microsoft Excel skills
  • Can hold confidential information and know where and when to share
  • Translate financial terminology into clear forms
