About the role

We are looking for a product manager to build the social experience on and off Weee.   Reporting to the VP of Product & Growth, the product manager (Social) will be responsible for enhancing and expanding users’ social engagement within the Weee! App as well as on extending Weee’s social reach on Facebook, Instagram, and Wechat.  The ideal candidate is obsessed with driving viral growth through feature enhancements as well a/b testing, and has a strong aptitude in data analysis/modeling.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Social Growth: Design and execute product strategies to grow sales on Weee! and through social channels
  • Community Engagement: Define, deliver and manage product features, engagement campaigns and incentives programs to drive the engagement of Weee!’s customer community
  • Product definition: Work closely with product marketing, data analytics and design team to understand, analyze user needs, find opportunities, and materize them into product priorities, roadmap plans and detailed specifications
  • Execution: Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ship impactful changes on our app
    • Providing technical specifications
    • Coordinating development activities

 

Qualifications

  • BS in CS, engineering, or related fields
  • 5+ years or more experience as a consumer-facing Product Manager or similar role
  • Minimum 2 years experience working on mobile apps
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin, proficient in Chinese writing and reading a plus
  • Strong interest in data and a relentless desire to grow key metrics via experimentation and A/B testing
  • Deep understanding of and empathy for users
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with multiple priorities
  • Experienced in working with a remote engineering team
  • Experience in social graph is a plus
  • Experienced in e-commerce environments is a plus
  • API/SDK integration experience a plus
  • Ability to write SQL a plus
