Attention, master number crunchers! Warby Parker is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing insightful analyses and reporting on business performance and trends, as well as supporting the development of Board of Directors, investor, and internal communication materials. The right candidate for this role will have the ability to think critically, a strong analytical background translating data to insights, and an operational mindset. What you’ll do:

  • Create and manage dynamic and scalable financial models, developing compelling outputs that track business metrics and performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Use your financial prowess and Excel expertise to develop and deliver thoughtful reporting to the FP&A team and other supporting departments
  • Provide integral support on key FP&A team deliverables, including annual budgeting, financial projections, Board of Directors meeting preparation, and other internal/external business reporting
  • Provide analytical and strategic support for ad hoc analyses (focusing on the why more than the what)
  • Lead identification and support for high-impact special projects across the entire organization, collaborating closely with business owners from other departments

Who you are:

  • Equipped with 1–4 years of relevant work experience in a highly analytical role at a top-tier investment bank, management consulting firm, or high-growth consumer-facing operating company
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the thorough accounting knowledge required to build comprehensive financial models
  • Naturally curious with a passion for problem solving using data and analytics
  • Able to work with large amounts of data and detail without losing sight of the big picture
  • A self-starter who is able to prioritize and manage multiple assignments, take initiative, and work independently
  • An excellent communicator who loves to share findings and actionable insights
  • Collaborative and excited to work with many different teams across the company
  • Passionate about direct-to-consumer businesses and excited to support the growth and development of an organization that delivers a best-in-class customer experience
