We are looking for an Artist to join our Create team, working on an enormous roster of WWE Superstars, supporting character creation. You’ll build varied costumes, accessories, gimmicks and hairstyles that enable players to customize and create their own one-of-a-kind celebrity of sports entertainment.
WWE2K is an exciting and ambitious game franchise with a diverse set of features and requirements. You will grow and develop in many different areas, learning from a highly skilled team while working on ground breaking technology. What You’ll Do
Work closely with Art and Character leadership to achieve amazing standards.
Model, UVs, and texture using Maya, Substance Painter, and Photoshop.
Use our toolset to create and maintain rigs for characters (face and bodies) and attires.
Collaborate with Art, Production and Engineering to drive research, workflows, and technologies for improved deformations, animation fidelity, and streamlined creation processes.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to character rigs and simulation.
Meet delivery deadlines under production constraints.
Work in an approval pipeline for assets that have been produced by external vendors.
Mentor other artists as needed
Experience researching, piloting, and rolling out new techniques
Understanding of game engine limitations.
Must be a self-starter with a willingness to learn and grow and take directions well.
Possess strong time and project management, be a great colleague, and have good work ethics.
A love for games (not just ours!)
Fluent in Python (PySide / PyQt)
Zbrush, Maya and Substance Painter knowledge
Shotgrid, Perforce, Jira, Confluence.
End-to-end knowledge of game production processes, and ability to scale your role to each phase
