The Job
You will own the sales activities in your geographic territory for the LNP product portfolio. You will determine how to best achieve and exceed the quota for the territory, working with colleagues and field-based technical and support resources as needed. You will qualify leads, prospect based on your own network, and meet with customers to understand their R&D challenges. You will also provide business reviews and forecasts for the territory and collaborate with other go-to-market colleagues to ensure customer feedback is heard within the organization.
Responsibilities
Sell Unchained Labs LNP instruments in the assigned geography of New England and/or Mid-Atlantic
Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
Maintain a high-level of technical knowledge for the Unchained Lab’s product line
Proactively generate new leads and opportunities, and quickly respond to marketing delivered leads
Develop key accounts within assigned territory
Navigate orders through the customer purchasing process
Update Salesforce CRM system regularly and provide ongoing sales forecasts to Management
Maintain positive customer relations
Conduct pre-sales seminars, technical presentations, and instrument demos. Work with field application scientists as needed to dazzle the customer with our systems.
Location is Northeastern US, preferably Boston, DC, Philly, or Raleigh
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related science field
3-5 year’s sales experience in the life sciences tools industry selling laboratory instrumentation
Demonstrated track record of sales performance and exceeding quota
Travel up to 30% overnight when required
Experience with MS Office applications and Salesforce databases is desired
Compensation
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $97,500 - $212,000. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual base salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. This role is also eligible for our annual bonus or commission program, and comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs.
