About the job

Twilio is looking for an energetic and highly-analytical individual contributor to drive critical initiatives for our customers and prospects. You will work with our clients to consult on how Twilio can impact their key business drivers, and show them the value in partnering with us – backed by finance and metrics.

This is a senior-level, hands-on position on the Twilio Foundry team. Foundry is an executive engagement program that assists our customers with showing the vision and value in partnering with Twilio. We’re a team of consultants that specialize in experience design, customer engagement, and financial analysis. We help businesses develop, prove the value of, and implement a strategic point of view on how to engage customers within their category.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Work with our clients to understand their key business drivers and consult on how Twilio can support the initiatives – backed by finance and metrics – in addition to the value realized (post successful implementation). 

  • Analyze company financials and strategic markets and provide key findings to stakeholders. Document business impact stats to inform GTM teams. 

  • Identify and qualify new inorganic growth ideas from internal and external sources and drive end-to-end execution of Value Selling and Realization for both our customers and internal sales teams. 

  • Lead or assist in all aspects of customer engagements, including strategy formation, developing business cases, customer interviews, deal execution and coaching.

  • Interact extensively across all functional teams within Twilio GTM organization and have significant exposure to our senior leadership.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 7+ years experience in financial modeling, corporate development/private equity, and or pre-sales consulting.

  • Fluency in performing rigorous financial, valuation, and broad quantitative analyses and familiarity with accounting & key operational metrics. 

  • Demonstrated track record of working with senior leaders to executives to build financial models.

  • Have the technical ability to understand software and recognize areas of product integration, discuss strategic vision, and engage with our sales team

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

Desired:

  • Strong preference for someone with prior experience in a financial-related or customer-facing role at a technology (software) company.

  • Technically savvy and experience with the cloud, APIs, communications, enterprise software, devices, and mobility is a plus.

Location 

This role will be remote in the USA, or can be based in our SF or NYC office.

Approximately 20% travel is anticipated.

Colorado applicants: 

  • The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $116,312 (Developing minimum for Colorado) - $182,776 (Premium Mid for Denver Metro).

  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
