ABOUT THE ROLE 🤹‍♀️

Reporting to our Director of Growth - Digital, you will be a key player expanding our digital paid-acquisition strategy. You will oversee the execution, analysis, and optimization of all things digital (paid social, paid search, affiliates, ad networks, etc). On top of that, you will be a thought-leader in growth data discovery, go-to-market strategy, creative strategy, growth engineering/data partnerships, and challenging the media buying status quo. This is an exciting opportunity to make an immediate impact on Rocket Money’s growth. We are in a hyper-growth phase and as a core member of our growth team, you will be expected to further accelerate our velocity.

Specifically, you will:

  • Lead the strategy and execution of Rocket Money’s digital user acquisition program to rapidly expand our scale at efficiency (paid social, paid search, affiliates, ad networks, etc).
  • Manage and allocate the digital marketing budget effectively, ensuring resources are used efficiently to achieve acquisition goals. Regularly report and optimize budget allocation to meet ROAS and spend targets.
  • Use advanced analytics and A/B testing to optimize campaigns for efficiency and performance. Meticulously analyze the conversion event and cost funnel, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to enhance the performance in each digital vertical.
  • Expand our portfolio of digital acquisition channels with fearless testing, optimization, and reporting. Constantly research and recommend opportunities for scale and growth.
  • Lead creative strategy across various digital acquisition verticals by conducting deep levels of creative analysis with the ability to translate these learnings into actionable directions.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Creative, Data, Engineering, Product, and CRM to align marketing strategies with project development and company goals. In addition, collaborate on growth experiments and initiatives that drive efficient conversions in ways we haven’t tested before.
  • Mentor a high functional team of growth marketers, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
  • Establish yourself as the expert in the mobile app + web user acquisition space by staying up to date on industry trends and identifying first to market opportunities. Attribution models (SKAN, Last Click, MMM, etc) are your bread and butter topics of discussion.

ABOUT YOU 🦄

  • 4-6 years experience in user-acquisition and data-driven marketing at a high-growth consumer-focused startup or in a media strategy role at a media agency serving high-growth startups.
  • Data wizard with a deep analytical background in growth KPI’s (ROAS, CAC, LTV:CAC, Contribution to ROAS, etc) and the ability to translate learnings into actionable strategy.
  • Experience leading highly functional media buying teams with a track record of beating revenue and ROAS goals.
  • Expert in the mobile app install acquisition space. Web acquisition experience is preferred as well.
  • Self-starter and naturally curious, with a deep need to understand the underlying rules governing human responses to our communications in order to understand how to best communicate our message
  • Constantly challenging the status quo, you find yourself asking pivotal questions, and turn to existing data or launch experiments to answer them
  • Insatiable curiosity. You find yourself constantly asking questions to identify and improve upon every aspect of the channels you manage.
  • Advanced Excel and/or SQL user. Bonus points for experience in Looker.

Additional information: Salary range for $140,000 - $165,000/year + bonus + benefits. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
