ABOUT THE ROLE 🤹‍♀️

Rocket Money is seeking a talented and experienced Art Director to join our Growth Team. Reporting to the Senior Growth Marketing Manager - Card, this role will work closely with a Copywriter to drive creative initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a data-informed creative approach to drive user acquisition and engagement.

The ideal candidate will combine creative excellence with a growth mindset, bringing fresh perspectives to our marketing initiatives while maintaining brand consistency and driving measurable results

Specifically, you will:

  • Lead the visual direction for credit card advertising campaigns and other growth initiatives
  • Create compelling design solutions that drive user acquisition and product adoption
  • Present creative concepts and design directions to the Creative Director and other senior stakeholders
  • Possess strong graphic design skills with the ability to take an idea from ideation to polished, finished work
  • Partner with Senior Growth Marketing Manager to synthesize data into developing performance-driven creative
  • Collaborate closely with a Copywriter to ensure strong concept-to-copy alignment
  • Stay current with financial advertising regulations and ensure all creative work meets compliance requirements
  • Oversee visual consistency across multiple channels including paid social, display advertising, and email
  • Guide the development of campaign style guides while maintaining alignment with Rocket Money's brand standards
  • Develop and optimize creative assets based on performance data and testing results
  • Deliver innovative creative solutions while adhering to strict legal and compliance guidelines in financial services

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in advertising design, with focus on digital-first campaigns
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating growth-oriented design work across various channels
  • Proven experience creating high-performing advertising campaigns
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and current design trends
  • Excellence in project management and multi-stakeholder collaboration
  • Demonstrated ability to produce creative work within regulated environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in fintech, financial services, or credit card advertising
  • Background in performance marketing and growth design
  • Experience with rapid testing and iteration of creative assets
  • Understanding of UX/UI design principles
  • Data-informed approach to creative development and turning user research into ads
  • Experience designing for diverse digital channels

Additional information: Salary range of $130,000 - $150,000/year + bonus + benefits. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
