ABOUT THE ROLE 🤹‍♀️

As Director, People Experience, you will play a critical role in shaping our organization’s people strategy and fostering a positive employee experience. Ideally we’re looking for someone with a Product or Biz Ops background. The product is creating the best workplace experience ever!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate closely with the leadership team, team members, and Rocket Companies teams on People Team initiatives to support business goals.
  • Drive and manage various People Team projects, such as career planning, talent analytics, and leadership coaching.
  • Implement best practices to enhance the team member experience, while identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency.
  • Provide strategic guidance on workforce planning, organizational development, and talent management.
  • Lead and develop Talent Acquisition team.
  • Design strategies and drive initiatives to enhance team member engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Foster positive relationships across the organization, ensuring effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Lead talent development efforts, and drive learning and development programs to create a culture of continuous development.
  • Implement effective performance management processes.
  • Create roadmaps for talent development and succession planning.

ABOUT YOU 🦄

  • You possess a unique combination of technical prowess, empathy, and strategy and are energized by the opportunities that come with operating at the center of multiple areas.
  • Experience guiding teams with numerous strategies at different phases in the organizational journey. You enjoy the challenge that comes with bringing new strategies and the opportunity to improve existing experiences to solve problems.
  • You’re a master cross functional collaborator that is comfortable working with other business areas and operational teams to get things done.
  • You can use data and feedback to generate insights, identify opportunities, and tell a story that motivates those around you.
  • You have an owner’s mindset - you don’t shy away from the hard stuff.
  • Experience at a fast-growing startup in a cross-functional environment is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive Product, Business Operations, or People Operations experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee development.
  • Demonstrated success in shaping and nurturing company culture.
  • Experience with compensation strategy and office management.

Additional information: Salary range of $155,000 - $195,000/year + bonus + benefits. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
