Role Overview
As the Leader of the Sales Team, you will be responsible for executing and co-developing the sales strategy, managing a sales team to exceed targets, and building an environment that encourages growth and high performance. You’ll be operationally involved while maintaining a tactical overview of the sales process and business, enabling you to align your team with the company’s mission and goals.

  • You initially engage in selling to 100 clients, before assuming a leadership role, while intensively learning from the management team on the business.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Team Leadership: Lead a team of sales professionals, continually challenging and inspiring them to grow and reach their full potential. 
  2. Operational Leadership: Be willing to get hands-on, while keeping a helicopter view of the team's performance and goals. You master our offerings, and lead the sales process effectively.
  3. Performance Management: Ensure the team performs at the highest standard, focusing on quality and production metrics. Set goals and coach your team to enhance their sales potential. You build and develop your team.
  4. Metrics and Tracking: Track and analyze performance metrics to ensure the business objectives are met or exceeded. Report the necessary metrics with your leader and align on actions.
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including Product, Marketing, and Operations to ensure efforts are aligned with overall business goals.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: You have 4+ years of experience as a top performer of which 2+ in a role where you had to manage individual contributors in a high performance focused environment.
  • People & Performance: You can inspire and bring out the best in individuals through your high energy, while also setting high standards and holding your team accountable to meet them.
  • Sales Skills: Excellent communication skills, capable of selling snow to someone in Antarctica.
  • Fluency in at least 2 languages: Dutch, French and English
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work from Brussels on a daily basis to build an energetic sales environment.
  • Work ethic: You take pride in maintaining high standards and ensure you always deliver results, regardless of obstacles.
