Sales & Investor Relations Associate
Techstars is seeking an experienced sales professional with a strong background in investor relations to join our team as a Sales and Investor Relations Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) through effective sales and marketing strategies. You will also work closely with the Investor Relations team to create marketing materials and thought leadership content to enhance our brand image and maintain a robust pipeline of potential investors.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and cultivate relationships with RIAs and other potential prospects to develop a robust pipeline of business opportunities
Collaborate with the capital formation team to develop and execute sales and marketing plans to increase business opportunities with RIAs
Utilize digital and traditional tactics to influence RIAs and other potential prospects
Foster strong relationships with existing investors by staying informed about their objectives, risk tolerances, and other relevant factors
Liaise with the Techstars revenue team on our joint initiative(s) with prospective partners who want innovation coupled with fund returns
Collaborate with the IR team to develop and maintain marketing materials and thought leadership

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business or related field preferred
3 years of experience in sales and investor relations
Proven track record in identifying, cultivating, and maintaining relationships with RIAs and other prospects
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Proficiency in Google Suit, Salesforce, and other relevant software applications.
Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 + 10% bonus
