About the Job
The Inside Sales Rep (ISR) is a pivotal position to the future success of Sovrn. As an integral part of our sales team, you are helping to generate new business by building strong lead lists, prospecting and then developing your leads through a sales pipeline. This is an opportunity for someone to make an impact on the bottom line and learn the ad-tech industry.
What you will be doing:
- Proactively seek new business opportunities, manage the sales cycle from prospecting, qualification to introduction.
- Develop relationships with buyers via email and calls.
- Expertly manage communication: from onboarding to serving as the day-to-day point person for our buyers and networks
- Listen for buyer's pain points and understand their needs.
- Work with the Demand sales team to identify a solution/sell and close buyer’s.
- Prospect, call, and nurture leads
- Book meetings through outbound calls
- Gain a deep understanding of our advertisers’ business goals and turn data into compelling stories and actionable insights to help them succeed
You are a curious and driven individual who is highly organized, with strong interpersonal skills and has a hunter mentality. You work just as easily independently and on small teams. You are intellectually curious and have a keen interest in the digital marketing industry. You are interested in a career in Sales and are taking steps to get there.
The successful candidate will have:
- 0-2 years knowledge of sales
- Ability to think strategically, understand the art of writing emails and following up for potential campaigns, and translate these needs into compelling concepts and solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable on the phone speaking to leads
- Highly detail-oriented, and able to thrive in deadline-driven environment
- Results oriented and motivated - ready to level up to your career goals.

- Online advertising experience with ad tech companies through a role at a DSP, SSP, ad network, data company, or ad exchange
- Bonus points for experience with Salesforce or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
