As an Ad Operations Manager you’ll be working with publishers to onboard and manage their advertising platforms. You will be responsible for programmatic revenue and optimization by utilizing Sovrn’s industry leading technology.

Responsibilities:

Operations unit focussed exclusively on ‘Services’ operations

  • Deliver ‘partner agnostic’ solutions for the publisher, focussing on delivering the very best service and highest results for our publishers.
  • Partner closely with Operations to provide pre-implementation and post-implementation support to Sovrn publishers
  • Support and educate the Operations Team on how to assist Sovrn publishers by ensuring proper advertising campaigns are appropriately aligned to properties
  • Collaborate with internal teams, product management, marketing, and operations to quickly help resolve publisher issues and get them on boarded
  • Work with Director, Operations to identify and track KPI’s to measure success
  • Identify and execute optimization opportunities
  • Manage issues that are coming down the pipeline and delegating work appropriately
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for publisher escalation and issue resolutions
  • QA or troubleshoot 3rd party tags, and other advertiser-provided creatives
  • Assist Sovrn publishers with installation and optimization of Sovrn javascript ad tags
  • Develop and streamline processes to facilitate and expedite publisher on-boarding and case/incident tracking, as needed
  • Provide technical support to Sovrn publishers via phone, email and web tools
  • Coordinate with the appropriate teams to provide assistance in identifying, reporting and resolving technical issues
  • Maintain knowledge of best-in-class technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies

Requirements:

Must have

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree required
  • At least 4yrs experience within an Ad Operations team or similar at a publisher or another Adtech vendor
  • In-depth knowledge of cross device Ad Serving Technology platforms inc. Ad Servers SSPs, DSPs and Ad Verification tools
  • Proactive approach
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to take lead/initiative when required
  • Work independently or as part of a team
  • Expert knowledge of Google Ad Manager

Nice to have:

  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience working within SalesForce or other Customer Relationship Management systems
  • Demand side experience at either an agency or another Adtech vendor, SSP experience a bonus

Specific Technical Skills

  • Understanding of generating tags and correct implementation from DFP/Google Ad Manager
  • Trafficking and optimising campaigns using an ad server, DFP/Google Ad Manager
  • Internet savvy and strong proficiency in office productivity tools (Gmail, Google Apps, Confluence/JIRA, Salesforce CRM)
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Vlookups, Formulas, pivot tables, etc)
  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL and Flash

  • Possess strong business acumen and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
