Silverline’s clients are leading-edge organizations that are/have selected to advance their business and the Analysts are an essential member of the team. As a Sr. Salesforce Analyst, you will be part of a collaborative project team, working as a key member to document, configure, and deploy Salesforce solutions for our clients with assistance and oversight from Silverline’s experienced hands-on consultants.


In this role you will:

Follow Scrum methodology to collaborate in all aspects of project delivery as a member of a project team, under direction of a Consultant: 

  • Assist consultants with scoping sessions, taking notes, business process documentation, user stories, and other documentation
  • Build, test, and deploy declarative elements of a client’s Salesforce instance, including but not limited to: custom objects and fields, email templates, validation rules, flows, page layouts, reports and dashboards, AppExchange and internal IP packages, data mapping and loads, deployments
  • Lead and support UAT sessions and demos with client stakeholders and document feedback and refinements
  • Lead and support training sessions for client end users, administrators, and executives, including creation of training materials 
  • Escalate to the Consultant within the project as required to communicate bandwidth constraints or other challenges as they arise


Build automations and business processes in Salesforce of medium to high complexity in a project context: 

  • Provide input and recommendations to the Consultant on design and approach for configuration items, including selection of appropriate automation tools and features
  • Follow Silverline and Salesforce configuration best practices
  • Work with Developers and Consultants to support complex custom development, for example by documenting field mappings for an integration or building declarative elements to support a larger solution
  • Build user interface, custom logic and automation, and reports & dashboards
  • Modify configuration items based on client and Consultant feedback


Complete testing of declarative, custom code, and integration functionality: 

  • Follow testing / QA standards appropriate for project size and complexity (test case documentation, happy path testing, regression testing, deployment testing, simulated end user testing)
  • Test your own declarative build items prior to hand-off to Consultant for QA
  • Fix configuration bugs that are identified in the testing process
  • Identify and document any custom code bugs that are identified and work with the development team to resolve and retest
  • Modify the build based on QA feedback from the Consultant


Grow your own skills and coach and mentor junior Analyst Team members in collaboration with the Analyst Lead:

  • Research and learn new Salesforce features and AppExchange products as needed within a project context and beyond
  • Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce releases, especially enhancements relating to the core Sales/Service Clouds and declarative capabilities
  • Learn Media and Ad Sales industry terminology and processes
  • Help coach and mentor team members on projects, requirements, solutions, Silverline IP, industry knowledge, best practices, technical and soft skills, client issues and challenges in their role 
  • Share Salesforce and industry/vertical knowledge with the Silverline delivery team
  • Support in the development of a high performance team


In order to qualify you must have the following essential skills and experiences:

  • A self-starter, demonstrating self-confidence, enthusiasm, and the ambition to succeed within a fast-paced work environment
  • Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a constantly changing work environment with an extreme emphasis on attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of business process and declarative capabilities
  • Strong hands-on experience designing and building declarative automation in Salesforce (Flow experience strongly preferred)
  • Proficient in declarative SFDC capabilities, including formulas, process builders, dataloader, and flows
  • Proficiency in the use of Internet/Web-based applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs Suite)
  • General business understanding 
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Excel data manipulation and mapping (eg pivot tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH)


It would be an added bonus if you also had the following:

  • Experience with Media and Ad Sales industry, terminology, and processes
  • Experience with Media and Ad Sales industry systems, including Operative, Google Ad Manager, Freewheel, etc
  • Certifications, including Salesforce Platform App Builder, Administrator, Sales Cloud/Service Cloud Consultant, Scrum Master
