Primary responsibilities include:

Consulting and Business Acumen

  • Apply business acumen, technical, and declarative skills to quickly assess, diagnose, and design solutions to address business needs and articulate value to client stakeholders
  • Engage customer stakeholders to understand desired business outcomes, define success criteria, and maximize utilization of the platform
  • Serve as a lead solution architect across multiple projects and/or Managed Services engagements
  • Optimize engagement to deliver quarter-over-quarter value and ROI
  • Conduct org health assessments in collaboration with the Technical Architect in order to ensure an effective and sound Governance plan for client orgs
  • Provide sound consulting guidance related to best practices, adoption, platform development, leveraging additional ecosystem functionality and Salesforce releases to streamline business processes

Salesforce/Software/System Development Skills

  • Draft custom development specifications and manage the delivery and testing of the functionality by Development resources
  • Synthesize requirements to create clear and comprehensive user stories and solution design documentation
  • Perform fit-gap analysis between Salesforce functionality and client requirements
  • Design elegant, innovative Salesforce solutions involving: configuration of Salesforce and Managed Packages, creation and refinement of complex data models, external integration, business process automation, and other custom functionality
  • Manage data migrations from third party systems to Salesforce.com
  • Configure Salesforce.com per client requirements
  • Manage technical scope and client expectations, including management of development and technical resources both on and offshore
  • Gather sufficient information for troubleshooting development-related issues
  • Provide basic product support troubleshooting for Silverline proprietary applications.
  • Perform gap analysis between Salesforce functionality and client requirements

Project Management

  • As a key contributor on a project team, guide customers through the implementation of Salesforce solutions using Silverline’s agile methodology
  • Iterate on solutions through a Build/Test/Review cycle with customer Product Owner
  • Work with a Silverline Managed Services Manager(CSM) to manage a project to scope, budget and timeline expectations
  • With CSM, lead discovery workshops and requirements refinement sessions to uncover customers’ business, functional, and technological requirements
  • Document system requirements as requested
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent time management skills

 

Basic Requirements:

  • 5+ years client-facing consulting experience with Salesforce.com
  • 5+ years experience administering Salesforce.com
  • 5+ years experience implementing projects involving CRM platforms or relational databases
  • Proficient writing skills for producing functional specifications documentation
  • Outstanding communication skills, with both the internal team and clients
  • Experienced with learning and leveraging cloud-based technologies
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, high performance environment
  • Self-starter, ambitious, flexible, team player

Desired Skills/Education/Certifications

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering – or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred
  • com certification (Advanced Administrator, App Builder or Sales/Service Cloud)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Apex Data Loader and equivalent third party data loaders
  • Understanding of the key levers for B2B, B2C, hybrid business models
  • Experience with Agile or other similar software development methodologies
  • Experience designing or building Salesforce integrations with 3rd party applications
  • Strong understanding of core database concepts
  • Proficient with Google Apps, MS Office and Lucid Charts
  • Conversational knowledge of HTML, Java or APEX is a plus
