LTK’s mission is to empower the world’s premium lifestyle Creators to achieve maximum economic success. We have a huge opportunity ahead of us and we’re looking for team members who want to create, innovate and disrupt an industry.

We empower our team members to drive innovation, create value, and continue to spearhead the creation of this industry — a game changer when it comes to career growth.

Position title: Staff Engineer

Location: US-Remote  #LI-Remote

Reports to: VP, Engineering

About you:

You're looking for a career where you'll be able to build, to deliver, and to impress. You look at problems holistically, and want to work on projects where you are implementing solutions to real problems that require creative solutions and deep understanding of the problem space. You challenge yourself and your team to constantly come up with simpler and better solutions to complex problems. This highly visible role requires frequent communication with senior leadership in order to shape Brand Platform strategy and roadmap. You’ll nimbly switch between strategic and tactical initiatives to achieve technical, business, and customer experience goals. Ultimately, you'll be responsible for owning and driving initiatives across the Brand Platform’s software stack.

About us together:

We're going to change the way that Creators collaborate with Brands to maximize their economic success. Along the way, we're going to face seemingly impossible problems. We're going to argue about how to solve them, and we'll work together to find a solution that is superior to each of the proposals we came in with. We'll make tough decisions, but we'll all understand why. We'll be the dream team.

The ideal Staff Engineer for this space will be highly quantitative, have great judgment and passion for delivering tremendous business value in an uncharted domain through a scalable system that anticipates significant growth across multiple dimensions. You’ll be inventive, and have a pragmatic and iterative approach to delivering high quality software. You’ll simplify and get things done, working effectively with engineering teams across the company.

Some problem spaces we'll be working on:

BRAND PERFORMANCE - Influencer marketing is a newly emerging opportunity for Brands to drive product awareness. The long-form collaborations developed by influencers are more effective than static and video advertising, yet the ability to measure their performance is nascent at best. We need to quickly develop expertise that allows us to inform Brands where the largest opportunities exist to achieve their Brand goals and demonstrate, through performance, how influencer marketing supplements and improves their traditional media plans. We’ll do this by building intuitive and comprehensive targeting, selection, optimization and reporting often deferring to ML given the complexity of the interactions of our data.

MARKETPLACE - We need to scale, and we’ll do this by developing a thriving marketplace that Brands and Creators love. We’ll start with a focus on long tail Brands, but our ultimate goal is to build a self-service platform that the head Brands prefer to use. When we’ve scaled our Brand platform, we’ll repeat the process for Creators, creating opportunity for Creators, no matter their level of proficiency. We’ll seek to educate and improve both sides of the marketplace, and by doing so, lift the performance of Influencer marketing. We’re not going to stop there: we’ll discover how to deliver performance regardless of the campaign goals, and we’ll establish new verticals. Any one of these aspirations would be challenging, so we’ll ruthlessly prioritize until we’re done.

DATA - we need to become great with data, starting with integrations with all Social Media and Influencer platforms, but quickly extending to satisfy our thirst for data. We’ll look for new ways to interpret the data that we have, on platform and that we ingest from third parties, with an aim to tease out new learnings that differentiate LTK from our competitors. We’ll want to provide real value to Brands and Creators alike and we believe that we’ll get there by excelling with data. We know that we need to develop new muscles with Machine Learning and AI. We'll know when we’re done when Brand performance uncertainty is a distant memory.

Questions?:

You may already know if you're a fit, but perhaps you're worried about technology and experience requirements? Don't be - we're looking for smart and proven engineers; if you're the right candidate, we're flexible.

How you will make an impact:

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
