Our General Manager plays a crucial role in leading our Louisville, KY fulfillment center. They have direct ownership of developing, executing, and maintaining our operation and a company culture that is focused on customer service, performance, and growth.

This individual proactively identifies problem areas and creates process improvement projects daily. They are always thinking “How can we make our Fulfillment Center safer, customer-centric, increase quality or productivity?”

What You'll Do:

  • Create and maintain a safe work environment for all Associates and Managers
  • Hire, train and develop the FC management team, overseeing career progression and performance management across all operational shifts and departments
  • Drive FC performance across all key performance indicators (metrics) - Safety, Customer, Quality, Productivity
  • Proactively identify problem areas and create process improvement initiatives geared towards improving Safety, Customer, Quality, and Productivity performance
  • Collaborate with both site-level and network-wide leadership teams to design and deploy productivity plans to ensure adherence to business goals
  • Regularly review and adjust site labor plan to align with capacity needs and workforce retention and engagement needs
  • Collaborate with the HR, Finance, Systems & Automation, and Facilities teams to create an effective partnership across key business units
  • Partner with fellow GMs and network-wide leadership to establish foundational standards, processes, and systems to support rapid expansion

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or Business Administration preferred. MBA or Master degree is plus
  • 3+ years of operational management experience, managing a large facility.
  • Experience and knowledge of 3PL operations, continuous improvement and Six Sigma is a must. 
  • Proven track record of successfully hiring, training and engaging a large workforce.
  • Must possess strong problem solving and analytical skills 
  • Strong technical skills with advanced capabilities in applications such as MS Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, ERP/WMS/TMS, etc.
