WATER RESOURCES TECHNICIAN

The Water Resources Technician both operates and maintains equipment and systems in a continuous improvement-based and safe work environment. Position is responsible for the ongoing management and maintenance of the water and wastewater processes to meet both plant and environmental standards. This position reports to the Water Resources Supervisor.

The Water Resources Technician is accountable for, including but not limited to, the following job responsibilities:
- Complies with all safety and environmental regulations
- Perform daily sample collection, preparation and analytical laboratory testing
- Adjust the treatment processes, chemical feed rates and equipment, based upon lab analysis, system trends and SOP's
- Maintain records, perform data entry, and provide standardized end-of-shift reporting
- Monitor and manage the system performance to assure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency
- Follow technical operating procedures and develop operational improvements
- Maintain a high degree of cleanliness for all treatment facilities and equipment
- Continually grow in systems and operational knowledge

The Water Resources Technician position is located in a manufacturing environment, which includes:
