The Position:

We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative Senior Research Associate to join the analytical & assay development team to perform analytical method transfer, optimization, development, and validation. This person will be responsible for conducting testing on drug substance, drug product, and stability samples to support research and manufacturing.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform method development, optimization, and development/validation design of drug substances, drug products, and the specified components of drug products. 
  • Supports the development of protocols under which the methods transfer, optimization, and development are conducted and executes such protocols. 
  • Evaluates statistically the validation data and write the method validation report for submission. 
  • Documents results of testing, compiles into reports, and presents at team meetings 
  • With training can run routine bioanalytical LC/MS/MS samples  

Qualifications: 

  • BS or MS in Chemistry or related discipline, with 4+ years of relevant laboratory experience in academic or industry settings. 
  • Hands-on experience with HPLC & LC-MS, and the evaluation of their respective data for method development reporting. 
  • Experience with lipid nanoparticles, forced degradation, gas chromatography, and development of stability indicating methods desirable. 
  • Good laboratory notebook documentation skills in physical or electronic notebook environment.
