Samsara is seeking talented and driven regional sales managers to expand our enterprise field business in the public sector. You should be an energetic evangelist passionate about introducing a transformative new technology into the market. You should have a history of over-achievement (Presidents Club, etc.) and be comfortable selling into all levels of an enterprise organization in both technology and lines of business. Candidates should be based in the greater areas of the Mid-Atlantic. Regional travel required.
An ideal candidate:
Has 5+ years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role
Has a proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement
Has experience handling and owning enterprise deal sizes
Is willing and comfortable with strategic outbound prospecting
Has excellent interpersonal skills
Regional travel required
Will demonstrate and embed Samsara's culture principles (Obsess Over the Customer, Build for the Long Term, Growth Mindset) as we scale globally and across new offices
During the first month in the role you will:
Travel to Samsara HQ in San Francisco for a week of New Hire Training
Attend a variety of different onboarding sessions, where you'll: receive a thorough introduction to our leadership team, be immersed in our product offerings and meet our CEO, Sanjit Biswas, in a "Samsara 101" class
Meet your team and fellow new hire cohort
Shadow cold-calls, product demos, etc.
