Key Responsibilities:

  • Account for transactions under US GAAP and local GAAP and in accordance with company accounting policies
  • Prepare monthly journal entries for Canada and UK entities; approve monthly journal entries for Israel
  • Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for Canada, UK, and Israel
  • Perform flux analysis on respective balance sheet and P&L accounts
  • Achieve completion of all month/quarter/annual close processes timely and in adherence to close calendar
  • Primary liaison between US accounting team and international entities
  • Conversion of local books to US GAAP
  • Collaborate and support Tax related to international compliance, including statutory reporting and regulatory filings
  • Manage statutory audits and support consolidated audit
  • Manage transfer pricing calculations, relevant inter-company entries, and support international tax structure compliance
  • Collaborate with Technical Accounting on appropriate accounting for non-standard accounting transactions
  • Partner with FP&A on budget/forecast and close results
  • Design, document, implement, and execute internal controls to ensure transactions and balances are accurately reported
  • Perform analysis and provide insight into account balance details and drivers of change
  • Maintain accurate and consistent chart of accounts
  • Continuous evaluation and identification of process improvements
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with Accounting, Finance, Technology, and other functions
  • Mentor and develop junior staff members
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and tasks as requested
  • Handle special projects related to technology, systems, automation, new initiatives, or other requests

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university
  • CPA (or path to it) required; MBA a plus
  • 5+ years of work experience in an Accounting role
  • Big 4 and or public company experience preferred
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
  • Experience with international accounting and FX preferred
  • NetSuite experience a plus
