Come for the cats, stay for the empathy. Reddit is looking for a creative thought leader to grow and develop our consumer brand globally. Reddit’s brand is on the rise in terms of recognition, relevance, and reputation. This role will be responsible for helping Reddit build an iconic brand and cultivate its cult following. Acting as Reddit’s brand steward, this person will understand and evangelize our unique proposition and leverage the core aspects of our community-first platform to bring our brand to life off-platform and grow our business. 


  • Develop and evolve Reddit’s consumer brand value proposition, pillars, and promise 
  • Develop materials that enable the company to understand and take action on our consumer brand proposition
  • Work with internal and external creative teams to develop and execute integrated campaigns
  • Act as an evangelist internally and externally to help people understand Reddit’s unique brand proposition
  • Act as a subject matter expert for cross-functional teams who are proliferating Reddit’s consumer brand via their channels (i.e. media partnerships, paid marketing, growth, business development, etc)
  • Guide the creative development and provide brand guardrails for on-platform and off-platform programs to enhance Reddit’s brand
  • Assist in brand tracking and measurement to understand how Reddit’s brand recognition, relevant and reputation and evolving


  • Deep understanding of the Reddit platform

  • Ability to develop strategic insights from qualitative and quantitative research
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills
  • Ability to motivate and persuade large groups across teams
  • 8+ years of experience working on in advertising or an in-house marketing/creative team
  • Experience developing or contributing to national integrated campaigns
