It is a very exciting time of growth for our Go-To-Market sales pursuit team, and we are currently hiring a Microsoft Industry Solutions Architect with specific focus on State and Local Government (SLG).

This role can be located anywhere in the United States, but we would prefer Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Chicago, Denver, Phoenix or Tampa.

What will this role entail?

In this role, you will collaborate with your Quisitive sales pursuit and Microsoft field teams to drive and position innovative and transformative Microsoft SLG focused solutions for our extensive client base. This position demands a visionary strategist with a solid history of formulating and implementing SLG strategies, catalyzing revenue growth, and championing innovation and client collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive SLG strategy that aligns with company goals and targets
  • Oversee the development and execution of the SLG portfolio
  • Create revenue forecasts based on SLG drivers and sales projections
  • Work with team members to identify and analyze digital transformation opportunities
  • Develop and implement growth strategies aligned with company objectives, focusing on customer revenue expansion and retention
  • Understand the competitive landscape and work with team members on effectively positioning Quisitive's services and solutions
  • Utilize SLG and technical expertise to pursue new business opportunities, optimize the portfolio and promote customer innovation
  • Provide impactful market insights to facilitate deal closure
  • Work with Microsoft field team and Quisitive Account Executives to generate opportunity pipeline
  • Collaborate with Quisitive Account Executives, Presales and Delivery teams to identify market trends, customer needs and emerging technologies

What is required to be successful in this role?

  • 7-10+ years’ experience in consulting or technology leadership roles
  • Experience in navigating the Microsoft platform ecosystem to drive client opportunities and initiatives to successful outcomes
  • Professional executive presence, strong business acumen and ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels (including C-level)
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Understanding of industry trends, challenges and opportunities related to technology innovation and digital transformation
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to develop productive customer/team relationships and work across functional boundaries
  • Ability to take ownership of assignments and work independently (or in a team) to accomplish goals
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple work streams and embrace change in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism while managing to deadlines and shifting priorities
  • A promoter of trust and teamwork; ability to delegate, motivate and influence
  • Strong problem solving, decision making, time management and organizational skills
  • Innovative thinker with a desire and aptitude to always be learning and adapt to new business and/or functional concepts
  • Willingness to travel when required for client meetings (10-20%)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, MIS or equivalent experience
