It is a very exciting time of growth for our Technical Presales team, and we are currently hiring an M365 Technical Solution Director to work in parallel with our sales and consulting teams to drive our M365 presales pursuits, define strategic objectives and identify solutions for our customers that result in net new services revenue for Quisitive.   

This role can be located anywhere in the United States, but we would prefer Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Chicago, Denver, Phoenix or Tampa.

What will this role entail?

The Technical Solution Director (TSD) Microsoft 365 (M365) plays a critical role in driving the adoption of M365 solutions across our customer base. This role provides deep technical expertise and strategic direction to ensure that our M365 offerings align with customer needs and business goals. The TSD works closely with Digital Architects, Account Executives (AEs) and delivery teams to design, validate and propose comprehensive M365 solutions that enable digital transformation and enhance collaboration, productivity, and security. Key Responsibilities include: 

Technical & Solution Leadership: 

  • Lead the technical design and architecture of scalable, secure and high-performing M365 solutions, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Power Platform, Copilot and Security & Compliance features that address customer needs and meet compliance requirements
  • Provide subject matter expertise on M365 capabilities, integrations and best practices to support customer proposals and solutions
  • Stay updated on the latest M365 developments, features and industry trends to provide cutting-edge solutions
  • Engage and build relationships with Microsoft’s M365 Sales Specialists to promote Quisitive’s reputation as an M365 & Copilot and to ultimately build sales pipeline
  • Understand Microsoft offers and funding strategies and how to best implement with Quisitive customers 

Customer Engagement: 

  • Conduct detailed technical discovery sessions with customers to understand their business requirements and pain points
  • Collaborate with Digital Architects and AEs to develop tailored M365 solutions that align with customer goals and drive business value
  • Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations and workshops to showcase M365 capabilities and benefits

Collaboration and Alignment: 

  • Work closely with Digital Architects to ensure that proposed solutions are aligned with broader digital transformation strategies
  • Collaborate with delivery teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction of proposed solutions
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from presales to delivery by coordinating Assessments, Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Pilot implementations in collaboration with delivery teams 

Innovation and Thought Leadership: 

  • Drive innovation by identifying new opportunities to leverage M365 technologies for improved business outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of sales plays, go-to-market strategies and best practices related to M365 and evolve solution assets (workplans, documents, presentations, deliverables, etc.)
  • Act as a thought leader in the M365 space, representing the company in industry forums, webinars and conferences
  • Provide regular feedback to the presales & delivery leadership on the effectiveness of M365 solutions and strategies 

What’s required to be successful in this role? 

Experience: 

  • 10+ years of experience in a technical presales, solution architecture or related role with a focus on Microsoft 365
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing M365 solutions across various industries
  • Strong background in IT infrastructure, cloud technologies and enterprise architecture 

Technical Skills: 

  • Deep expertise in M365 services, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Power Platform, Copilot and Security & Compliance
  • Proficiency in M365 integrations, identity management (Entra ID), Tenant-to-Tenant Migration and Intune deployments
  • Exposure and adoption experience in Microsoft Copilot, including business impacts associated with generative AI diffusion

Certifications: 

  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, or Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals

Consulting Skills: 

  • Exemplary presentation, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and skill to articulate technical solutions to business challenges; ability to strategically position a program of services to solve problems and enable customer transformation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Ability to work collaboratively, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders to deadlines and outcomes in support of the sales opportunity 

What would make me stand out?  

  • Previous experience is a similar sales support or pre-sales engineer role with a Microsoft systems integrator 
  • Experience with Microsoft’s Generative AI compendium of tools (Copilot, Custom Copilot, custom AI services) 
  • Experience with data governance, Copilot Studio, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI)
  • MBA or master's degree  
  • Active Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert; Advanced Certifications [DP-900; AI-102; DP-203; DP-100]
