Our Amsterdam Office is KRAFTON’s EMEA Headquarters which covers the Europe, Middle East & Africa, and the CIS regions, with teams dedicated to Publishing, Esports, Content, Communications and General Operations. These teams support all local offices and development studios in our region.
Onsite, our Amsterdam Office also houses PUBG Studios which is busy with the development of an exciting new IP, currently known as Project “Black Budget”.


The Lead of West Scale-up Team will play a pivotal role in bridging Krafton’s Headquarters and Western teams. This position is critical for ensuring the seamless transition and scaling of new products from our Headquarters into the Western markets.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of product introduction, adaptation, and market penetration strategies tailored to Western consumer needs and standards.

Basic Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Expansion:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for scaling our business in the Western region, focusing on market entry, expansion, and penetration plans.
    • Identify growth opportunities and prioritize initiatives to maximize market share and revenue growth in alignment with HQ objectives.
  • Cross-regional communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between the Western and HQ in Korea, ensuring effective communication and alignment on strategic initiatives.
    • Provide regular updates and insights to HQ on Western market dynamics, trends and performance metrics.
  • Cross-functional collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and product development, to ensure seamless execution of growth initiatives in the Western Market
    • Serve as a liaison between the West Scale-up Department and other departments, facilitating communication, alignment, and collaboration on strategic initiatives.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and inspire the Western team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

We are ideally looking for: 

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English, facilitating seamless collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Solid experience in Marketing communications, product management, consulting, or a similar role, with a strong emphasis on international market scaling.
  • A passion for games and a keen eye for market trends and data.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams across different geographical locations.
  • Exhibit a strong sense of responsibility, self-drive and exceptional communication abilities.
  • Be resilient to pressure and capable of managing work across different time zones.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and project management
