About the Job
We’re looking for an experienced Head of Product (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and to lead the technological vision and execution.
In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on developing the cutting-edge platform from scratch, owning the product roadmap and ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.

In this role, you’ll:
- Lead the development of our cutting-edge platform from scratch, providing strategic leadership throughout the process
- Build and mentor a talented technical team proficient in our stack, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- Ensure seamless integration and alignment between product, engineering, and design teams, promoting effective communication across all functions
- Oversee the robustness, scalability, and security of our technology stack to deliver an exceptional user experience and meet operational demands
- Continuously seek opportunities for technological and product advancements, maintaining proactive engagement with key external partners to expand our product offerings
- Demonstrate experience with backend services (Java 17 with Spring Boot 3), AWS infrastructure, and frontend development (TypeScript and Next.js, featuring SSR, React Hooks, Material UI, and React Query)
Your Profile
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in high-tech engineering and product departments
- Proven expertise in managing products from inception to market, with a focus on scalable and high-performance solutions
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of the necessary technologies, capable of guiding technical discussions and making informed decisions that impact the product and business
- Experience in related industries such as e-commerce or fintech is highly desirable
- An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to motivate and lead teams, characterized by a positive attitude, humility, and a commitment to both corporate and personal growth
- Extensive experience in team leadership and hiring within engineering and product departments, with a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing, cross-functional teams
Please note that we are looking for support in the London office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
