We're currently seeking a Collections Agent who will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our customers. Reporting directly to our Collections Manager, the Collections Agent will play a critical role in receiving incoming and outbound calls to customers in arrears, discussing payment options, and ensuring compliance with company policies in a professional manner. This position offers an excellent compensation and benefits package:

Hourly rate + Commission Incentive Potential ( year target earning 55-65k)

Please note, that this position is in-office at our NEW Corporate Office around the Galleria Area in Houston,TX.

What will you do?

Ensure an excellent customer service experience for PosiGen customers to resolve their past due accounts.
Receive incoming and make outbound calls to customers in arrears to discuss payment options
Advise and influence customers on the payment options for debt recovery
Manage customers who are resistant to agent contact by remaining polite, tactful, honest and firm
Handle escalated customer calls and address any collection issues expediently to ensure customer satisfaction

We want to hear from you if:

2 years of experience in a call center or collection agency preferred
Salesforce experience is a PLUS
Bilingual Spanish-speaking required
Have de-escalation, advanced customer service experience, and analytical skills
Knowledge of billing, collections, and customer service procedures
Have the ability to relate to people from a variety of different backgrounds
Great communication skills and outgoing personality

Physical Demands

The physical requirements outlined are essential for performing the core duties of this role.
Regular responsibilities include speaking, listening, standing, walking, using hands for handling or feeling, and reaching with arms.
Occasionally, the employee may need to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lifting and moving objects up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally is required. Vision requirements include close, distance, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
