Job Title: Associate Product Marketing Manager – TCG

Job Summary: The Associate Product Marketing Manager assists in the execution of go-to-market plans and live ops support for the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). Partnering closely with the Senior Manager, Product Marketing, in addition to a cross-functional team of The Pokémon Company International stakeholders, channel leads, and vendor/agency partners, this role will help carry out marketing plans, ensuring streamlined communication and flawless execution.

What you’ll do

  • Assist in the development of marketing plans and communication of key details to the extended marketing team.
  • Serve as a product champion. Informing cross-functional teams of product features and USPs through deep understanding of audience segments and attitudes. Assist in content generation and development for inter-departmental activities, supporting PR and Social teams on TCG expansion promotion.
  • Participate in the development of creative materials, TCG asset management, product reviews and sell sheets, including internal/external feedback loops and approvals.
  • Lead TCG sampling outreach. Securing support from external publishing and promotional partners and providing ongoing support for all creative, logistical, and administrative requirements.
  • Responsible for all EMEA experiential marketing and events. Managing all creative, logistical, and administrative requirements to facilitate successful execution.
  • Primary relationship holder for all European costume character agencies, managing inventory, event bookings, and dispatch for all UK office teams.
  • Prepare campaign performance reports, tracking against business and marketing key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Stay current on marketing best practices, bringing new ideas and partners to the table that are rooted in consumer insights and industry trends.             

What you’ll bring

  • Three (3) to four (4) years of experience as a marketing professional with a global entertainment brand or consumer brand.
  • Bachelors degree in marketing or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with agencies and external partners to execute marketing initiatives.
  • Demonstrated program management skills to support the creation and implementation of hype, launch, and sustainment marketing activities, and the ability to problem-solve wherever needed.
  • Deep knowledge and a passion for the Trading Card Game industry

  • Base salary range: £43000.00 - £63000.00. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. It is common for TPCi to start employees below the midpoint of the range. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates qualifications and experience uniquely
