Pendo is currently hiring a Senior Office Experience Manager. This role will sit as a member of the People Team and report out of our Raleigh HQ.

In this role, you will ensure that Pendo's Raleigh office runs smoothly, and provide a friendly and professional experience for our employees and visitors. This position is an in-office role with the expectation of five days a week in office.
Responsibilities (what you’ll do):
- Manage day-to-day office operations while creating a safe, professional, welcoming environment for guests and employees.
- Greet and direct guests appropriately. Notify employees of guests’ arrival promptly.
- Share reception desk coverage with Employee Experience Coordinator as needed, including answering and screening calls, managing mail and shipping, managing executive meeting and event spaces, receiving deliveries, and directing vendors.
- Manage facility requests and maintenance vendors, proactively address workplace wear and tear, create work order tickets and track data, and communicate with stakeholders regarding project status, budget, and completion.
- Manage facility vendor contracts, vendor and stakeholder communications, budget, and relationships to ensure accurate, prompt, and cost-effective service rendering.
- Manage and proactively maintain orderly community spaces, conference rooms, and call booths.
- Proactively track, and manage office supplies/snack programs, manage vendor budget and restocking schedule, and ensure replenishment as needed.
- Manage planning, direction, and execution of company onsite/offsite events, community-hosted events/meetings, including post-business-hours event execution and special projects as needed.
- Direct, manage, and support office-wide catering needs, and facilitate set-up and clean-up as needed with assistance from porters and catering staff.
- Work closely with the global office experience team to ensure a similarly consistent, and orderly presence in all offices.
- Work closely with the global office experience team to coordinate cross-office communication, coordinate cross-office meetings and events, and support cross-office employee exchanges/travel.
- Work closely with various teams (Executive, IT, People, Marketing, Revenue) to assist with office logistics, visitor and guest management, onboarding/offboarding, parking, and special project requests as needed.
- Coordinate with People Team stakeholders to manage and execute “day one” new hire onboarding including presentations, equipment distribution, catering, and other duties as needed.
- Coordinate with People Team stakeholders to execute employee offboarding including equipment collection, shipping, and other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years in office experience, employee programing, event planning, hospitality, facilities and/or community partnerships
- Remarkable customer service skills, proactive mindset, and professional demeanor that builds strong cross-functional relationships at all levels of the organization
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without need for current or future sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Thrives in a startup or a high-growth, demanding work environment
- Self-starter with a strong sense of independence and the ability to self manage, but not operate in a vacuum
- Excellent and efficient oral/written communication skills effectively communicating and engaging employees at all levels (ICs to executive leadership) regarding organizational change, H&S needs, and workplace announcements
- Ability to be resourceful, proactive, efficient, and innovative when issues arise
- Strong organization and data analysis skills
- Success simultaneously project managing office operations, workplace renovations, facility projects, and events
- Knowledge of global office management best practices including health and safety, workplace design and engagement, cross-cultural awareness, and
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a time-sensitive, fast-paced environment with speed and grace under pressure
- A talent for pleasantly fielding numerous requests with outstanding attention to detail
- The willingness and ability to learn new skills, pivot quickly, and respond positively to feedback

Compensation
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in:
- Raleigh, NC: $84,000 - 100,000
Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
