The Senior Content Marketing Manager will develop and execute sophisticated content strategies that establish Pendo's thought leadership in digital adoption and software experience management for enterprise buyers and stakeholders. This role requires understanding of and familiarity with enterprise buying cycles, stakeholder dynamics, and how to create compelling content that resonates with senior decision-makers.
Responsibilities (what you’ll do):
- Drive enterprise content strategy and creation. Writing, editing, and project managing content that supports larger marketing campaigns, including (but not limited to): e-books, blog posts, interactive experiences, social media, videos briefs/scripts, infographics, and [enter your innovative ideas here].
- Create compelling thought leadership and messaging that positions Pendo as an enterprise solution with supporting proof points, customer stories, and outcomes-based narratives for executive audiences.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and other content creators to envision and build new content formats. You think about content beyond the long form, and strive to invent new content experiences to tell a story.
- Partner with product marketing to translate complex technical capabilities into clear value propositions that resonate with enterprise buyers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with demand generation teams and product marketing on content development for enterprise-focused marketing campaigns, including account-based marketing (ABM) programs targeting strategic accounts.
- Connect content to marketing outcomes. You should be comfortable with synthesizing data to inform content strategy and understand how content is performing.
- Lead the charge. The right person will have high quality standards and a bias to act. It’s an exciting time to join Pendo and grow our business, and we need people who are motivated to define and evolve our work as a marketing team and a company.
Qualifications (what you have):
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of seven (7) years of B2B SaaS marketing experience
- Great writer and thinker; exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record creating successful content programs targeting enterprise and C-suite audiences
- Experience creating content for different enterprise personas (IT leaders, business leaders, end users) across the buying journey
- Experience working with senior executives to develop and promote thought leadership content
- A passion for creative experimentation and experience creating content for different media and audiences, including video and social media
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate with writers and designers to create compelling content that aligns with business objectives
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate with campaign teams and product marketing to understand their needs and help create materials that support those needs
- Data-informed, creative thinker with an affinity for a fast-paced work environment

Compensation
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in:
- Raleigh, NC: $105,000 - 131,000
Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
