At Pendo, Global Value Consulting is a strategic team that drives business cases and justification for Fortune 500 companies to invest and partner with us. This leader will define the direction of this group, develop fundamental and return on investment models, and collaborate with Global executives to drive our shared vision. You will be a key advisor to C-level executives seeking your mentorship to drive their digital transformation initiatives. This will include designing a comprehensive strategy and executing cross-functional collaboration with other functions, enablement across the Sales / Customer Success lifecycle, organizing events focused on communicating the value of Pendo in and outside the organization, participating in the development of new offerings and roadmaps, and global value consulting operations around hiring and performance.

Role Responsibilities 

  • Lead our Value Consulting team: develop talent, establish methods, and manage internal partners.
  • Drive a higher volume of larger deal transactions to increase Enterprise market penetration.
  • Develop and deliver business case presentations that accelerate and/or expand opportunities.
  • Build and maintain financial models that justify strategic investment in Pendo.
  • Prepare compelling executive proposals to engage customers in long-term business relationships.
  • Become a business value subject matter expert in account planning sessions and quarterly business reviews.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to identify business requirements and align our business value to address said requirements.
  • Array cross-functional internal account and executive teams to focus on business value as a primary driver for strategic opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 10+ years of detailed business case development, financial analysis, ROI / TCO financial modeling, and executive storytelling experience
  • Executive experience managing, developing, and delivering enterprise consulting services
  • Strong experience in Value Advisory, Sales Consulting, and/or Management Consulting
  • Experience engaging with C-level executives and complex internal stakeholder groups
  • Strong skills in developing executive narrative slideware with inputs from internal stakeholders
  • Strong program management and communication skills
  • Presentation skills, including public speaking, meeting facilitation, and whiteboarding
  • Experience in developing and growing C-Level relationships with an ability to communicate complex topics to an audience with various functional knowledge
  • Consultative skills, including issue diagnosis, unpacking, and advising on CXO-level challenges
  • Presentation skills, including public speaking, meeting facilitation, and whiteboarding
  • You enjoy working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • You can travel

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree in business administration is a plus

Compensation 

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.

The expected national salary range for this role is  $260K - $320K USD

Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
